The Hub Diary

The Hub is the midweek home for Kingston Vineyard and the Growbaby project.  As such there are many different events going on throughout the week.  Whilst some of the events may not suit you (for example the toddler group) you are always welcome to visit to see what we are up to.  At present the Hub is not open full time but it is always worth checking this page as there are regular changes.

Regular events

Mondays - Mondays are our prayer evenings.  We meet for coffee at 8pm and then pray from 8.30 pm – 9.30 pm. You are more than welcome to join us at the Hub, 38 Surbiton Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 2HX. Phone: Noni on 07900 212567 for more detailed information.

Tuesdays - This is our night for Housegroup at the Hub.  At present we only have one housegroup meeting at the Hub but there will be more in due course.  So if you would like to join us the group is:  “Peter and Noni Farrelly with Claudine Flageul’s group”  we meet at 20.00 – 22.00 and are a group who believe in having fun, spending time with God, building community, eating good food, worshipping, and, most importantly, lifting each other up in Christ.  For more information call Noni on 07900 212567 212567 or Claudine on 07870 195293. 

Wednesdays – This our Growbaby day and our group “Little Spokes” also runs on Wednesdays.

• Growbaby is open from 09.30 – 14.30 and you can simply drop in to visit us any time during that period.  You don’t need an appointment just come…
• “Little Spokes” is our group for 0 – 3’s with their carers.  The group will run from 09.30 – 11.30 and there will be story and song time between 10.00 and 10.30.  Come and have coffee with us at the Hub meet other parents and carers and once a month we will have a visiting professional to cover topics relevant to caring for young children.  You are free to come for the entire time or just pop in. 

Thursdays – From March onwards we will be starting a parenting course.  This will be for parents of under 10’s and will be run from 13.00 – 14.30.  More information will be posted here shortly. 

• @home. We open the doors of the Hub for two hours every week for those living on the streets who might welcome somewhere to sit, chat, have a cuppa and be prayed for if they wish.  We’re there to listen, to encourage and to pray – offering a friendly face and some support.  This will run from 14.30 – 16.30. 

Fridays – In the near future we will be starting our skills for life course in conjunction with Fassett Road and the teenage pregnancy team; this will run from 10.00 – 12.00 weekly and will cover a number of different topics.  If you are a teenage mum and would be interested in this group please call Noni on 07900 212567.

3rd Friday of each month - Book Club - We thought it would be fun to have a book club and we would love it if you would like to join us.  We meet at the Hub.  We will meet between 20.00 and 22.00 and will have a few nibbles, some drinks and a chance to chat through our chosen book.  For more detailed information Phone: Claudine on 07870 195293 or Rachel on 07917 843703 .

One off events  

Tuesday 11th December 2012 – Joint Housegroups Annual Christmas party  - There will be a joint housegroups Christmas party at the Hub between 20.00 and 22.30 on Tuesday 11th December.
